(Life) – A couple in the US was arrested by the police for having sex in a car, attracting people passing by, leading to traffic jams.

The incident happened on the night of November 16 outside a prison in Springfield, Oregon City. Police said Kelli M. Knutson, 24, and Logan P. Jackson, 33, went to a strip club together before returning to their car to have sex.

Passing drivers are said to have slowed down to watch this lovemaking scene. According to police, because so many people stopped to watch, traffic was congested.

When arriving at the scene, the police saw a couple “drunkly making love” in the car. “The love scene quickly ended after our officer knocked on the car door,” Springfield police sergeant Rich Charboneau told KBAL. “They are very cooperative.”

When being taken to the police station, the couple declared that “they were so engrossed” that they did not notice that their actions caused a traffic jam.

According to Hufffington Post, both were arrested for indecent behavior and causing public disorder. Corporal Charboneau said that usually this action is just a warning.
